Hi! Hello! Bonjour! Hola! Guten Tag! Salve!

The 1st of March 2020 was the last time that our members had an opportunity to spend any time together, which was also the last time that we managed to get out on the water. And then the Covid-19 pandemic came along!

So, after waiting for the lockdown restrictions to ease, several of the members made arrangements to organise a socially distanced picnic at short notice. Mountbatten green was the preferred choice of location and, with the gods smiling on us, the weather was sunny and the view fantastic. 

Various interpretations of a picnic were evident, including fish & chips and, of course, beer!

The impromptu social gathering was a great success and everyone agreed that it was long overdue. Let's hope that the easing of the lockdown continues and we are able to resume our great sport.
