Sponsors
Without the help of our generous sponsors it would be very difficult to develop our fledgling Club! If you feel that you could help us grow and would like to find out more, please contact us, via our Contact page.
We have been fortunate enough to receive support from all over the UK and we are extremely grateful to the following businesses and organisations who have supported us so far by providing both financial support and donations in kind:
We exist to give lifetime support to the Royal Marines family. Our mission is to provide support, advice and friendship to serving and retired Royal Marines, their families, those that aspire to join and those with close links to the Corps.
Marine Fire Safety supplies, installs and maintains fire fighting and life saving equipment for marine and leisure applications.
We received a Magic Little Grant through the partnership between Localgiving and Postcode Community Trust.
Postcode Community Trust is a grant-giving charity funded by players of People’s Postcode Lottery. Localgiving is the UK’s leading membership and support network for local charities and community groups.
Domestic cleaning agency providing a cleaning service to private homes since 1993 to Plymouth and the surrounding areas.
We deal with all manner of home and commercial security concerns such as changing locks, gaining access to a property and upgrading locks. The majority of our work is done for a fixed price, meaning that you know exactly what the job will cost, with no hidden extras.

CEO Suzie Stanford
Suzie and MVCA have been instrumental in the production and promotion of the Club Sea Shanty, Forward to Race, written by David Graham Brain and sung by Carl Pemberton - Journey South. Suzie is a dedicated and passionate lady who encouraged and supported David throughout. She has very generously donated the song which incurred substantial financial costs, to the RMA Gig Club to raise funds for the RMA-The Royal Marines Charity.
The members of RMA Gig Club would like to formally acknowledge and express their deep gratitude to the Royal Marines Tamar Gig Club and, in particular Dave Mallinson and former Colour Sergeant Gavin Young, for their help and support in getting their fledgling club out on the water and enabling it to establish itself as a thriving gig rowing organisation. Through their initial donation of their gig 'Trafalgar' and a set of oars, it set off a chain of events which has, 12 months later, seen the RMA Gig Club become the club that it now is.
